Venue Terms & Conditions
These Venue Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of any venue listed on the EVÖQ platform (the "Platform") for booking services, events, or other purposes by Clients ("User", "Client", "Renter", "Booking Party") and the Venue Owner ("Venue Owner", "You"). By listing your venue on the Platform, or by booking a venue through EVÖQ, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms, the following terms have the meanings set forth below:
Platform: The EVÖQ website, mobile application, and all associated services, features, content, and software where venues are listed and booked.
Venue Owner: Any individual or entity that owns or operates a venue (e.g., studio, event space, etc.) listed on the Platform.
Client: A user who is seeking to book a venue for use through the Platform.
Venue: The location or space listed by the Venue Owner for rental through the Platform.
Booking: A confirmed agreement between a Client and a Venue Owner for the rental of a venue, subject to these Terms and the Venue’s specific terms and conditions.
2. Venue Listing & Availability
2.1. Venue Listings
As a Venue Owner, you agree to accurately represent your venue on the Platform, including, but not limited to:
A full description of the venue (size, facilities, features, amenities, etc.).
Clear and up-to-date pricing information, including any additional fees (e.g., cleaning, deposits).
Availability calendar and any restrictions on the use of the venue (e.g., hours of operation, noise restrictions, etc.).
Any special terms and conditions related to the venue use (e.g., catering restrictions, insurance requirements).
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided on your listing. EVÖQ is not liable for any incorrect or misleading information on the listings.
2.2. Booking Process
Clients may inquire about your venue via the Platform. Once a Client confirms a booking, a binding agreement is formed between you and the Client. You are responsible for reviewing the Client’s information, agreeing to the terms of the booking, and ensuring the venue is prepared for use as agreed.
3. Venue Use & Responsibilities
3.1. Permitted Use
You agree to allow Clients to use your venue for the agreed-upon purposes as outlined in the booking. Use of the venue is restricted to the type of event or activity described in the booking, unless prior written consent is obtained from you.
3.2. Client Obligations
Clients must use the venue in accordance with your venue's specific terms and guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to:
Compliance with local laws and regulations.
Proper conduct and behavior while at the venue.
Responsibility for cleaning and tidying the venue after use, unless agreed otherwise.
Adherence to any capacity limits, noise regulations, or other restrictions imposed by you.
3.3. Venue Owner Obligations
As a Venue Owner, you agree to:
Provide the venue in good condition, including clean facilities and functional equipment.
Ensure the venue complies with all applicable health, safety, and fire regulations.
Provide emergency contact information in the event of an urgent issue during the Client’s booking.
Be available for reasonable communication with Clients before, during, and after the booking.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. Pricing and Payment
The price for using the venue is set by you, the Venue Owner, and is visible on the Platform. You may specify any additional fees for services such as cleaning, deposits, or overtime charges.
Payments for bookings are processed through EVÖQ’s third-party payment processor, and you agree to the following:
Commission Fees: EVÖQ may charge a service fee or commission for facilitating bookings, which will be deducted from the payment made by the Client.
Payment Schedule: Payments for bookings are typically processed in advance, and funds will be transferred to you in accordance with EVÖQ's payment schedule, after deducting any applicable service fees.
Refunds: Refunds are subject to the terms of the Venue’s cancellation policy, which must be clearly stated in your listing.
4.2. Taxes
You are responsible for ensuring that any taxes applicable to the rental of your venue are correctly calculated and collected. EVÖQ is not responsible for tax-related issues.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
5.1. Client Cancellations
Clients may cancel their booking subject to the terms of your cancellation policy. You agree to honor your stated cancellation terms, which may include a partial refund, full refund, or no refund depending on the notice period provided by the Client.
5.2. Venue Owner Cancellations
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, you agree to:
Provide a full refund to the Client if cancellation occurs within a reasonable timeframe or due to your inability to fulfill the booking.
Notify the Client as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements, where feasible, or assist in finding a new venue.
EVÖQ may take action if cancellations are found to be excessive or unreasonable.
5.3. Force Majeure
Neither you nor the Client shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations under the agreement if such failure is caused by events beyond the party's reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government action, pandemics, etc.). In such cases, bookings may be canceled or postponed, and refunds issued according to your venue’s force majeure policy.
6. Liability & Insurance
6.1. Venue Liability
You, as the Venue Owner, are responsible for ensuring that the venue complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards. You agree to indemnify and hold EVÖQ harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:
Injuries, accidents, or damages sustained by Clients or third parties on your premises.
Failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations.
Breach of your obligations under this Agreement.
6.2. Client Liability
Clients are responsible for any damages they cause to the venue or equipment during their booking. You are entitled to charge Clients for any damages incurred during their use of the venue, subject to the terms of the booking and the security deposit (if applicable).
6.3. Insurance
We recommend that you, as the Venue Owner, maintain appropriate liability and property insurance for the venue. You are responsible for providing proof of insurance to Clients if requested.
7. Venue Rules & Regulations
You agree to establish and enforce clear rules and regulations for the use of your venue. These rules should be communicated to Clients in advance and should be visible during the booking process. Examples include:
Venue capacity limits.
Prohibited activities or items (e.g., smoking, pets, noise restrictions).
Use of specific equipment or facilities (e.g., audiovisual equipment, kitchen use).
8. Venue Owner Conduct & Responsibilities
You agree to:
Act professionally and in good faith when interacting with Clients.
Respond to inquiries, booking requests, and communications in a timely manner.
Ensure that your venue is maintained and presented to the best possible standard at all times.
9. Termination of Listing
EVÖQ reserves the right to remove your venue from the Platform if you are found to be in violation of these Terms or engage in activities that harm the reputation of the Platform. You may also request the removal of your venue listing at any time by contacting EVÖQ support.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. In case of any disputes arising from these Terms, both parties agree to first attempt informal resolution before proceeding with formal mediation or legal action.
11. Amendments
EVÖQ reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to you via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any amendments will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

By listing your venue on EVÖQ, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Venue Terms and Conditions.

2. Venue Listing & Availability
2.1. Venue Listings
As a Venue Owner, you agree to accurately represent your venue on the Platform, including, but not limited to:
A full description of the venue (size, facilities, features, amenities, etc.).
Clear and up-to-date pricing information, including any additional fees (e.g., cleaning, deposits).

Any special terms and conditions related to the venue use (e.g., catering restrictions, insurance requirements).
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided on your listing. EVÖQ is not liable for any incorrect or misleading information on the listings.
2.2. Booking Process
Clients may inquire about your venue via the Platform. Once a Client confirms a booking, a binding agreement is formed between you and the Client. You are responsible for reviewing the Client’s information, agreeing to the terms of the booking, and ensuring the venue is prepared for use as agreed.
3. Venue Use & Responsibilities

4. Payment Terms

4.2. Taxes
You are responsible for ensuring that any taxes applicable to the rental of your venue are correctly calculated and collected. EVÖQ is not responsible for tax-related issues.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
5.1. Client Cancellations
Clients may cancel their booking subject to the terms of your cancellation policy. You agree to honor your stated cancellation terms, which may include a partial refund, full refund, or no refund depending on the notice period provided by the Client.
5.2. Venue Owner Cancellations
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, you agree to:
Provide a full refund to the Client if cancellation occurs within a reasonable timeframe or due to your inability to fulfill the booking.
Notify the Client as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements, where feasible, or assist in finding a new venue.
EVÖQ may take action if cancellations are found to be excessive or unreasonable.
5.3. Force Majeure
Neither you nor the Client shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations under the agreement if such failure is caused by events beyond the party's reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government action, pandemics, etc.). In such cases, bookings may be canceled or postponed, and refunds issued according to your venue’s force majeure policy.
6. Liability & Insurance
6.1. Venue Liability
You, as the Venue Owner, are responsible for ensuring that the venue complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards. You agree to indemnify and hold EVÖQ harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:
Injuries, accidents, or damages sustained by Clients or third parties on your premises.
Failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations.
Breach of your obligations under this Agreement.
6.2. Client Liability
Clients are responsible for any damages they cause to the venue or equipment during their booking. You are entitled to charge Clients for any damages incurred during their use of the venue, subject to the terms of the booking and the security deposit (if applicable).
6.3. Insurance
We recommend that you, as the Venue Owner, maintain appropriate liability and property insurance for the venue. You are responsible for providing proof of insurance to Clients if requested.
