I don’t write songs to fit in or go viral; I write them to make sense of the emotions I can’t always articulate in a regular conversation. Music gives me a language for the darker, more complex parts of myself, the thoughts that are hard to explain but easy to feel. I’ve always been a bit introverted and often misunderstood, so music is how I show people who I really am and what I’m moving through."

Most of my songs revolve around the theme of being a dark horse, someone overlooked, underestimated, or pushed to the side. That’s why a lot of people connect with them. They speak to that silent grind, that quiet resilience. I create from feeling, not formulas. I never want to box in the meaning of a song or a visual. Whatever emotion the listener takes from it, that is the meaning. Everyone’s interpretation is valid, and that’s what makes the art real.
